While the plant has many names, it has been referred to mostly by Rivea corymbosa or by its Mexican name Ololiuqui. This name refers to its seeds; the word ololiuqui literally means ‘round thing’. This plant grows abundantly in the mountains of southern Mexico.
Growing: Ololiuqui seeds are very easy to germinate, preferably in moist conditions. The plants need as much light as possible. You don’t have to worry about over-watering, but try to keep the environment moist and warm. The Rivea plant is most sensitive to the cold. Make sure there is plenty of space for the roots to grow, as it is known for stretching to enormous lengths.
